Winning when you're supposed to.
I can tell you that when sitting at a chessboard against someone with a higher rating, it can be a bit of a shock to find yourself with any sort of advantage. You sit down with someone rated 200 points higher, and you naturally assume that any advantage you have has some equal compensation on your opponent's side, even when the board itself doesn't indicate it! It's a mental block... we know that since opponent X is rated N, and we're rated N - 200, that we're 'supposed to lose'. Cracking that mental nut is not easy, and I example here a game that I (being rated 150 points up) was 'supposed' to win. I did everything in my power to lose, dropping a pawn early, blundering a knight away, and making a reckless attack against my opponent's king, but my opponent seemed unable to get past that hurdle. He was just 'supposed' to lose against me, and so he did.
